  • After being transferred 4 times, the last person hangs up on me!

    My husband and I purchased plane tickets to New York with one stop. On the airport we learnt that it was changed to 2 stops because the plane had to fuel (?) it did not say it clearly on the itinerary, but when we called Cheap O Air, they said that it was a planned stop.     Made me enter all my card details then up popped a screen saying the flights I wanted were not available. However, unknown to me I had apparently purchased flights one way - without anything to suggest I had purchased tickets on Cheapoair website.     CheapoAir showed me a flight price for $1458. After I went through the whole booking process and gave them all my personal and credit-card information, the website told me that the price is changed to $1680 and asked me to accept and the booking.   • Paying for baggage twice

    Dear Cheapoair, I strongly recommend that you communicate better with the airline companies in order to clarify their baggage policies. I recently bought a Spirit trip via from Guatemala City to Fort Lauderdale and then to Bogota, Colombia. There was a 20 hour connection time in Fort Lauderdale, but despite this, I read on the CheapOair website that I would only have to pay for my checked baggage one time.   • Cheapoir makes easy money on emergency bookings

    On June 20, we got a phone call that my father-in-low passed away. I had to find the closest flight to Russia. I was ready to pay extra because of the urgency and found the pretty expansive ticket on Cheapoair site. The price was actually slightly lower than other sites so I was hooked.     Worst travel agency and the worst customer service.... I will never book a flight & hotel with them. I recommend expedia and others.     I had a medical emergency and asked CheapOair to change my flight. I also had sent my medical documents to Lufthansa before my flight date. CheapOair re-booked a new flight for me and I paid the penalty for airline. They said that after we talk with Lufthansa, they will refund us and we will refund you.     I booked a flight on july 18 and cancelled it 1 week after. I called them to cancel it , they told me I would have to pay 50 dollars but could only can refund 200 dollars on the 280 dollars I payed,and will get refunded in 5- 10 businesses days, .     Totally agree with the above individual. Today I sat down on 2 separate occasions to book a flight from IAD to SAT and both times after I entered my CC information, the price had changed from $355.20 (taxes included) to $726.70.     I purchased a flight through and made the unpleasant discovery that I had to pay for my checked bag, despite having checked with cheapoair and the airline first to avoid that problem.     On March 11, 2014 my friend and I had called customer service to book our flight to Milan, Italy and seats. For some reason they charged an extra fee of $99.12 for seating arrangements.     Complete bait & switch operation. I selected a departure and return date for a long weekend trip (depart Fri return Sun). Got a good price & selected flights.     The last two times I have tried to book when I go to pay my credit card verification number is flagged as incorrect - it is not - phone rep told me this is what happens if flight isno longer available - happened one with two tickets left , then again with one ticket left, the on hold a long time only to be told this is what your policy is - to say my credit card info is incorrect when you don't have the ticket to sell.     We booked a family vacation with CheapOAir in March and purchased travelers insurance. In April we were given the news that my wife was pregnant and would not be able to travel during that time frame. We called the travelers insurance and was given the run around.     This is going to far...I bought 5 tickets with cheapoair, and the main reason i bought ticket with them was because two of my flights were with turkish airlines, so they are my MSC, therefore any other flight has to go by their rules when it comes to baggage allowance which is two free baggages per person, but what cheapoair did was they put on my itinerary number one baggage per person.     will never buy airline ticket from cheapoair again. I had my flight booked from Calgary Canada to delhi new on march 3rd, 2013. On the website I was quoted 486.01 base fare per person 24.60 in taxes and fees per person for a total of $1021.22. I also had a promo code "NY15" that brought the price down to $1011.22.     I cancelled my reservation over the phone on 5 hours after booking. The CheapOAir representative told me that I will get my full refund back if I agree to pay $125 cancellation fee. At the end I agreed to pay the cancellation fee. I've been tracking the activity on my credit card and notice that I'm not getting the full amount back from CheapOAir.     Please don't take any advice from Cheap o air. I really had a very bad experience with one of their agents. They are not professionals and they don't know any proper information.
