Hi,
I booked tickets for my family (Wife and 2 kids on Lufthansa - Booking #: 26435655) and they travelled to India on 10th May without any problem.
The return ticket was on 21st Aug and when they went for Lufthansa check in counter, they asked to pay Rs. 1 Lakh+ to travel. It was a shock to my family and they called me (using someone else's cell as they were not carrying any phone). I checked why we need to pay this large amount, and was told that the seat class has been upgraded.
I called CheapO'air immediately to check what is happening and the agent said we don't see any issues with the reservation and there is no class change or any sort of activity, everything looks good. By the time the cheapO’air agent transferred to his supervisor, Lufthansa closed the gates and didn’t allow my family to travel.

My family is completely deserted in airport without any help. I requested my friend to take them to his home for that day. Next 3-4 days, I was constantly calling CheapO’air and they were still working on my issue.
I wanted my family to be travelled badly as my wife presence is must to sign for the house we are buying. I was given a route BLR-DEL-EWR-SEA. I was not comfortable as she was travelling alone with 2 kids and there is a high chance that she has to collect the check-in baggage’s and recheck-in in Delhi and Newark. Your agent confirmed that the baggage’s will be through Seattle and no need to worry. If I had them to travel in such as shabby route, why I would well in advance and just 1 hop?
Delhi to Newark flight delay. She had given again new flight – no proper food from United Airlines. In Newark she went to immigration and was told to collect the baggage and do the security check?? What??

By the time they reached Seattle, I just couldn’t see their faces.
I don’t know what happened, I need know why Lufthansa didn’t inform when the seat class got changed? Why they asked the money when my family went for the check-in? How one can expect to carry such a large amount? Why didn’t Lufthansa allow them to travel and worked with CheapO’air when I said that CheapOair agent is telling that there is no change in the reservation? How they can behave in-human in this case?
Who is going to pay for all the problems my family suffered these five days? Back and forth travel to airport, staying in someone else home (she has couple of hundred dollars in her hand for any delay in flight or some emergency), not to know what to do or any clear answers form CheapO’air except that it is being worked out and will call you once they have answer. None called, I kept calling you.
Please go through my communication (notes in my call history) in your system. I want you to compensate for all the trouble created those 5 days.
